How the plasma therapy procedure works

The plasma therapy procedure starts with the collection of a small amount of blood from the patient. The blood is then processed in a special machine to produce platelet-rich plasma, which is immediately injected into the skin by the dermatologist, either by injection, mesopen or topically (if other device methods such as fractionated laser are used before treatment). The whole process takes about an hour and is performed on an outpatient basis.

Contraindications to plasma therapy

Plasma therapy is not recommended for patients who have:
