Biography

Dermatovenereologist Mariia Artemenko (Ukraine) is a qualified specialist with a higher medical education.

She began her professional training at the S. I. Georgievsky Crimean State Medical University, where she obtained a specialist certificate in dermatovenereology (primary specialization).

She then continued her education at the P. L. Shupyk National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, successfully completing the program and earning another specialist certificate in the same field (secondary specialization).

The pinnacle of her professional development was her graduation from the Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, where she was awarded the highest qualification category in dermatovenereology.

Dermatovenerologist Dr. Mariia Artemenko (Ukraine). Mariia is a member of the international association of doctors “Secret Doctors Only” and “Skin Expert” dermatology association. She has extensive experience in cosmetic, laser and injection procedures, consultations and successful treatment of patients with skin diseases.

“Why did I choose dermatology? Dermatology is all about beauty and health, and I want to help as many people as possible to get healthy and beautiful. The skin is the largest as well as a very important organ in our body and how a person looks and presents themselves to society affects many areas of their life.

I believe that a doctor should be constantly learning and not stop at what he/she has achieved, so training is an integral part of my professional life and I am a training enthusiast and proud of my qualifications, which are evidenced by many international certificates. I have two university degrees and have studied in France, Ukraine and Russia.”

Dr Maria Artemenko moved to Latvia and joined our team in spring 2022. She is currently studying Latvian, but for the time being she consults only in Russian and English.
