Skin vascular formations appear after dilation of the superficial blood vessels or damage to the superficial layer of the skin. If the connective tissue is thin and weak, the capillaries are clearly visible as pinkish formations. The Candela VBeam Perfecta laser has a new micropulse technology that divides the energy of a single laser pulse into eight very small micropulses. The laser effect is intense, but at the same time short and skin-friendly. The special yellow 595 nm pulsed beams are precisely focused on the treatment area and penetrate the surface of the skin. The micro-pulses are less traumatic for the patient and allow a greater amount of energy to be used to effectively remove the growths, while being gentle on the skin and reducing the post-procedure period. Vascular formations of varying complexity can be treated in this way. The laser beam is selectively absorbed by oxyhaemoglobin at the site of the vascular lesion or dilatation. It depends on the formation in question, the time of its appearance and its characteristics. Certain blood vessels, hemangiomas can be removed in a single session. Several treatments may be required for complex vascular lesions, long-term diffuse redness, congenital port-wine stains. WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR REMOVING CAPILLARIES, FACIAL REDNESS AND OTHER VASCULAR FORMATIONS? IS THE PROCEDURE PAINFUL?

The procedure starts with the patient being fitted with protective goggles. The necessary parameters are input into the laser and the applicator is placed on the skin, the treatment area. During the treatment you will feel warmth or a slight stinging sensation. The treatment also uses the patented Candela DCD cooling system which cools the skin before, during and after the pulse, increasing comfort and protecting the skin while minimizing redness.

DO TREATMENTS FOR CAPILLARIES, FACIAL REDNESS, HAEMANGIOMAS AND OTHER GROWTHS HAVE A LASTING EFFECT?

Yes, the laser removes vascular lesions permanently, but it cannot affect genetic characteristics. Therefore, if a certain predisposition towards the occurrence of particular conditions is present, factors provoking them should be avoided and measures to enhance the skin condition should be taken, for example: in the case of pigmentation – wear sunscreen, a hat; in case of rosacea – avoid high and low temperatures and rapid temperature changes, use cosmetics for reddened skin, etc.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR THE REMOVAL OF CAPILLARIES, FACIAL REDNESS AND OTHER VASCULAR GROWTHS?

Several weeks before and after the procedure it is recommended to avoid direct rays of the sun, use sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher. During the first few days after the procedure avoid rubbing the skin, do not use agents irritating the skin.
