Biography

Dr. Inna Borkoveca is a dermatologist, venereologist, and trichologist specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of skin, scalp, and hair disorders. In her clinical practice, she combines evidence-based medicine with a personalized approach to each patient, focusing not only on symptom management but also on identifying the underlying causes of dermatological and hair-related conditions.

Dr. Inna Borkoveca consults patients with a wide range of dermatological and trichological concerns, including acne, rosacea, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, fungal skin and nail infections, various forms of hair loss, seborrheic dermatitis, inflammatory scalp conditions, and other disorders affecting the skin, hair, and nails. She performs optical and digital dermatoscopy, skin lesion diagnostics, and provides recommendations for prevention and long-term skin health maintenance.

A particular professional focus of Dr. Inna Borkoveca is trichology — the diagnosis and treatment of hair and scalp disorders. She specializes in the management of androgenetic alopecia, telogen effluvium, alopecia areata, and other forms of hair loss. Additional training in trichology was completed under the guidance of Dr. Inga Zemite in private practice in Riga.

Dr. Inna Borkoveca obtained her medical degree from the University of Latvia, Faculty of Medicine, and later completed her residency in Dermatovenereology at the University of Latvia. Prior to becoming a physician, she also graduated from the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Latvia and the International CIDESCO Beauty School in Riga, obtaining a professional qualification in cosmetology.

Dr. Inna Borkoveca is a member of the Latvian Association of Dermatovenereologists and the Latvian Hair Doctors Association. She regularly participates in professional seminars and advanced training programs, continuously updating her knowledge in modern dermatology and trichology.
