How Many Treatments Are Needed?

A MEDER treatment can be performed as a single procedure, for example when the skin requires intensive hydration, soothing, revitalisation or an improvement in its overall appearance.

For more pronounced and longer-lasting results, MEDER recommends a course of 5–10 professional BioFacial treatments. The exact number of procedures and the intervals between them are determined individually by an Era Esthetic cosmetologist, depending on the condition of the skin and the selected programme.

Contraindications

The treatment is not performed if the treatment area has:

• an acute infectious or inflammatory process;
• open wounds or significant skin damage;
• a known individual intolerance or allergy to any of the ingredients used during the treatment.

If there is an active dermatological condition or the patient is undergoing dermatological treatment, the suitability of the procedure should be assessed individually beforehand.
