How SilkRo Technology Works

During the procedure, very fine sterile microneedles penetrate the skin to an individually adjusted depth. Through these needles, radiofrequency energy is delivered into the dermis, where it creates controlled heating of the tissue.

This effect:

• contracts existing collagen fibers, creating a tightening effect;

• stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin;

• increases skin density and firmness;

• activates dermal remodeling processes.

The depth and energy settings are precisely adjusted according to the patient’s skin condition and treatment goals. Since the main action occurs within the dermis, the superficial layer of the skin is not significantly damaged.

Contraindications

The procedure is not performed in cases of:

• significant blood clotting disorders;

• severe chronic diseases in the decompensation stage.

How the Procedure Is Performed

1. During the consultation, the physician evaluates the skin condition and creates an individualized treatment plan.

2. An anesthetic cream is applied 40 minutes before the procedure, making the treatment virtually painless.

3. Microneedling RF treatment is performed on the selected areas.

4. After the procedure, soothing and moisturizing products are applied.

The procedure lasts 30–60 minutes depending on the treatment area.

Sensations After the Procedure

Mild redness in the treated area may occur after the procedure and usually subsides within a few hours or by the next day.

There is virtually no downtime — most patients return to their normal daily activities the same day.

Number of Procedures and Results

A course of 3–4 procedures with an interval of 4–6 weeks is usually recommended. The exact number is determined individually.

Results develop gradually, as collagen production is a natural biological process. The maximum effect typically becomes visible within several months after completion of the course.

Combination with Injectable Treatments
